Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, in Surrey. He will be deeply missed by Eva – his loving wife of nearly 58 years, his daughters, Marjie (Mitch), and Laurie (Brian), and two grandchildren, Kirsten (Max), and Jesse. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers Vernon (Loretta), and Larry (Genevieve), as well as many relatives and friends. Dale enjoyed a lengthy retirement after working for Safeway from 1953-1990. An avid traveller, an accomplished table tennis player, bowler, hiker, and snooker player, Dale lived life to the fullest. He was happiest though working on his beautiful property - riding his John Deere tractor in the woods, and through the garden and vineyard. A celebration of his life was be held on Saturday January 23, 2010, at 2:00 pm, Valley View Memorial Funeral Home, 14644 - 72nd Avenue Surrey.
